Although I enjoy receiving the DWR catalogues, I rarely ever find furniture I would actually consider purchasing for my home. This is due, not only, to the exhorbitant prices but also to the plethora of metal stick-legs on virtually every couch, chair and cocktail table in the showroom. There is something about a big ungainly-looking couch perched precariously on thin aluminum legs that makes my stomache a bit queasy.

Six months ago however I saw the Timavo and fell desperately in love. What I like most is the simplicity of the shape and the clean lines of the legs. It is, indeed, a beautiful piece of furniture.
